How to get here
The club is located on the Whakapapa ski field, Mt. Ruapehu, about a 15-20 minute walk from the “Top of the Bruce Road”, letting you ski in and ski out.
A great base for Tongariro Crossing trips, walks in the national park, winter skiing, snowboarding and social trips.
The Bunkrooms
Comfortable beds consisting of 12x single and 10x double beds in 3 rooms. Bunkrooms provide shared, yet quiet private accommodation that is warm and comfortable. Each bed comes with a privacy curtain, individual light and individual shelving / storage area.

Waikato Ski Club is a family friendly lodge. We regularly hold member events such as:
- Annual ski races – for all levels
- Sledging & Snowcraft courses
- Snow walks
- Summer activities and walks
- Club tramping trips including the Tongariro Crossing
